Greece ended up defeating Vanuatu 38 - 0.

There has been no match report on RLENWC website as yet.

I haven't heard any reports on the injured Greek player. Regarding the injured Vanuatu player, Vanuatu Rugby League tweeted this morning that Alehana Mara had been released from hospital and cleared of major injury. Alehana will miss the rest of the ENWC as a precaution.

I am just watching the England v New Zealand game now, what did everyone else think about the penalty try to England before half time?

I understand that DWZ came in with his knees (although you see players get away with that all the time). Given the fact Johnson held the English player up I am not sure how they could have awarded a penalty try. IMHO if DWZ doesn't come with his knees he still doesn't score the try. Therefore I think it should have been a penalty.

The Americas Championships start today (tomorrow Australia time). They also couple as RLWC qualifiers with the winner of the tournament qualifying for the RLWC 2021. The runner-up will play against the top Asian nation and the top Middle East Africa team for one other qualifying spot.

There is a double header with Jamaica playing Canada and USA v Chile. There will be another double header on 17th with the two winners playing each other for the RLWC qualifying spot and the two losers will also play each other.

Players of interest in the squads:
Canada Rhys Jacks (Sunshine Coast Falcons)
USA Connor Donohue (Sunshine Coast Falcons), Mark Offerdahl (ex-Easts Tigers)
Chile Junior Sandoval (Sunbury Tigers)

Americas Championships and RLWC Qualifiers
Jamaica 38 defeated Canada 8
USA 62 Chile 0

Haven't seen any scorers yet.

So on Saturday USA will play Jamaica with the winner qualifying directly for RLWC2021.
