2018 Ladder Predictions

Postby yourhero » Thu Dec 21, 2017 10:12 am

So, with most clubs pretty settled on the bulk of their rosters, what are everyone's thoughts on where the clubs will be positioned come the end of the 2018 regular season?

I don't agree with much of the analysis - but these articles provide a high level overview to each roster - https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/nrl-roster-rater-2018-the-ins-and-outs-and-how-your-squad-stacks-up/news-story/4c6c6b8baf72dc7ab20f5beb2b551573

I am initially thinking;

1. Storm
2. Cows
3. Sharks
4. Roosters
5. Eels
6. Broncos
7. Dragons
8. Panthers

9. Rabbitohs
10. Warriors
11. Raiders
12. Knights
13. Titans
14. Sea Eagles
15. Bulldogs
16. Tigers

Probably. It’s the same as every year with the Warriors - who f*cking knows...

Injuries will obviously be a massive factor in the final standings.

9. Tigers
11. Bulldogs

Both seem high for my liking... Here is the Fox Sports estimated round 1 teams of each. Both teams look very, very average.

3. Josh Morris
4. Brenko Lee
5. Marcelo Montoya
6. Kieran Foran

9. Michael Lichaa
10. Aiden Tolman
11. Josh Jackson
12. Adam Elliott
13. David Klemmer

14. Fa’amanu Brown
15. Francis Taulau
16. Raymond Faitala-Mariner
17. Clay Priest

TIGERS
1. Tui Lolohea
2. Kevin Naiqama
3. Moses Suli
4. Taane Milne
5. David Nofoaluma
6. Josh Reynolds
7. Luke Brooks
8. Russell Packer
9. Matt McIlwrick
10. Ben Matulino
11. Chris Lawrence
12. Chris McQueen
13. Elijah Taylor

14. Benji Marshall
15. Tim Grant

EDIT: With Brenko Lee going to the Titans, it gets even worse for the Dogs (IMO).
1. Mbye
4. Hopoate
7. Frawley

Yuck...
