There was a meager 10,563 @ AAMI today for England v Fiji. That means roughly 45,000 for the 4 quarter finals, barely passable .

Why were the ticket prices so high? May as well given them out free at the local Bed and Breakfast to as many "Too and Froms" who were backpacking around Melbourne.

Most ticket prices throughout this tournament . And the convoluted means of ticket allocation featuring segmented realeases were frustrating for potential attendees . It was a shambles in the ticketing area for this tournament. This negatively impacted on overall attendance figures.

Takes us to roughly 280,000 For the RWLC tournament so far. So no way are we going to hit 400,000, more likely around 375,000 (still being optimistic even with that!) which is 75,000 below target, which in any language is unacceptable!

This QF game today should have been played in Port Moresby. (Full house)However I'm sure the travelling English fans would have enjoyed Melbourne. Maybe that was the thinking by organisers?

When are organisers going to learn, Rugby League in NZ is really only centered in and around Auckland, elsewhere its pretty much non-existent and the crowds at the two quarter finals proved that. Those two games should've been held in Auckland and Hamilton. If they wanted to give Wellington and Christchurch games then they should've given them pool games.

Assuming that both Australia and England make the final, I reckon the game could hinge on which full back plays better. Billy Slater or Gareth Widdop..
