That was the type of win we needed with 2 weeks off. Lots of stuff for the team to work on over the next fortnight so that they don't get complacent in the lead-up to the big one.

Suli and Munster had their worst games in a while. The forwards didn't respect the ball. We couldn't force a single repeat set.

I think it's exactly what us was. We've been up for a long time now and can't be expected to be every single week. As others have said if there was any complacency creeping in then it'll be well and truly knocked out of them now.

There's no argument we were a fair way below our best and besides some dumb footy of their own Parra we're pretty good. That said they scored 2 of their 3 tries when we were a man down yet we still got the job done. A fact that seems to be lost on most north of the border...

We were creating havoc every set the first 15 minutes, but continued to push the wrong option. Parra were good but a lot of what went wrong for us was our own doing.

Excellent .

Shane Flanagan showed post-game what a classless individual he is. Last year after the GF loss, Cameron Smith showed his superb qualities by congratulating the Sharks and giving them due credit.

Today Flanagan could have adopted the same attitude towards a gritty Cowboys fightback. Instead he came to the press conference with a prepared list of criticisms of the referees. No admission that his team stuffed up . Classic case of blaming the officials.

Such an approach is worse than classless. It is dangerous. I am heavily involved in junior sport, and the number one problem is criticism of officials. Weak people like Flanagan encourage that sort of criticism by their unjustified whinging. Frankly he is symptomatic of a nasty and increasing streak in our society of people refusing to accept their own errors and seeking to deflect blame to others.

The NRL should come down very hard on him, but I suspect they will not. Such outbursts are tolerated so much more in NRL than AFL.

Sorry for the rant.

Flanagan and his bunch of peptide druggies should have been ruled out for life.

They should thank their lucky stats they managed to jag a Premiership last year

Don't apologise. You are 100% correct.

But then, what do we expect from a coach who orchestrated a drug cheating regime on par with Essendon and could never accept responsibility?
An odious little toad of a man, and a cancer on the game.
The difference between mechanical engineers and civil engineers is that mechanical engineers
design weapons, while civil engineers design targets.

Home advantage was a massive key component in a tight game. Crowd seemed awesome. Glad it got the biggest attendance.

Alvaro not charged for the elbow to Glasby's head, proving once and for all that anything is fair game if it is done to a Storm player.

Nothing for Glasby's chicken wing either. Maybe the match review panel couldn't be *lima lima lima duck* doing anything.
