Having to watch Slade Griffin for however long is going to be awful.

We were very rusty but had plenty of little things go against us that made it look much worse.

Cronk continues his woeful form.

Ricky blowing up about the refereeing in the post match presser... This one-eyed sook would whinge about the drive he has to make to cash in his cheque for a first division lotto win.

Don't forget the cost of the petrol to get there.

He's just deflecting from his awful coaching and team. Who cares what he has to say tbh.

Archer has come out and said the refs got it wrong and that Soliola's tackle met all the indicators for a sendoff.

But Sticky still reckons he was hard done by???

He had 47 texts and the crowd to tell him that. The main thing he had a problem with was the Vunivalu no try. Which is stupid because they got the penalty

Apparently that was raiders best game this year gee they must play shite then cause that was a shite game

2 friends spoke to Frank Pinessi and Cam and Bill after the game separately

My fiend who spoke to Frank said Billy was shaken up would miss 1/2 games Cam would miss 2/3 games

My other friend who spoke to the boys ...Billy said apart from a headache he was fine wants to play Sunday but will proberly miss 1 game
Cam reckons he will only miss 1 game as it doesn't hurt too bad he has been managing it all year since before origin... Was taken off cause there are more important games coming up

If cam has to miss how about using Cronk or Jacks at 9 instead of Griffin? Croft to 7 while coops is still around?

I did a quick look at the ladder last night. I think we only need two more wins to guarantee a top 4 finish and possibly only three more to finish top 2.

We should be ok. Do really wish we had Brandon Smith healthy though.

Just on that, it was the perfect professional foul. Stopped a fast break, let our guys get back on side and halted their momentum.
Bought us the time we needed to regroup and only missed a minute of game time.

Exactly the right play at the right time and a potential game saver . Well done Cam, smart football. 8)

My problem with it was not that it was a sin bin, it was that the message sent by the sin-binning is that an act of foul play is less an offence than holding a man down.

Soliola sent straight to the judiciary. Rapana also charged for shoulder charging NAS. Two weeks in a row a Raiders player has taken the opposition fullback out of the game, anyone else think it's a coaching instruction?

Few reports circling this evening saying Smith may only miss a week. Very doubtful but may even play next week.

Fingers crossed that is accurate and Smithy can nurse this injury through the rest of the year. Without any doubt, we need him close to fully fit if we are to win the comp.

If Brandon Smith were fit, I'd say we could get by until Rd 25 or 26 and give Cam a rest. With Slade though, I would have serious concerns about killing all team momentum and confidence.

Much like the Dally M, I am sure most here don't give a sh*t about the World Cup (but I do) and losing Smith would be a huge loss in that as well. Seriously, who is the next best hooker and how far behind Smith are they?
