Historical Depth

Postby Mattpoet » Mon Nov 09, 2015 12:13 pm

For a bit of fun over the off season, I'm starting a discussion on which position on the field has been our greatest historically.

I will start at the back with the number one's:

Regulars - Robbie Ross (1998-2002), Billy Slater (2003-2015), Cameron Munster (2015)

Regular fill=ins - Matt Geyer, Greg Inglis, Steve Turner

Historical Depth - Strong

Undoubtedly a position we have been blessed in. Beginning with Ross in the early days who was an instant fan favourite and moving on to Slater who many experts rate as being one of the best ever. And now we have Munster coming through who I think would've been Dally M Rookie for 2015 if he played for any other club.

I have it as our third best position historically.
