Re: Korobiete to the Dragons

Probably not a great career move but I think Marika is such an x-factor he could single handedly secure regular top 8 finishes for the dragons

Re: Qualifying Final: Storm vs Eels

So a spinning elbow to the head of a player is completely okay? The refs continue to set dangerous precedents and this is why the game will live in AFLs shadow.

The refs were so up and down the entire game - it has detracted from the real contest

Re: Road To The 2017 Finals...

We are so far ahead of the rest of the competition its not funny.

The league is very even all besides us. I've never been more confident that we will take out the big prize

Re: Thoughts on Patrick Kaufusi?

Very happy, he and Felise should thrive together and feel right at home together. I expect both of them will take their games to the next level, a bit of sibling rivalry is always good. I note how much Kenny has grown since JB started to revolutionise front rowers

Re: Players You Were Wrong About

Sam Joe and Joseph Tomane Tomane didn't really offer us anything that supported the hype when we signed him as a high school kid - he was all over the papers though. Ended up making his career in Rugby instead Sam Joe was written up as a superstar kid plucked from an island and given a shot - again,...

Re: Round 23 - Storm vs Roosters

Maclean - a few decent runs getting us out of trouble, seeing a lot that we will miss next year. NAS - as active as I've ever seen him, only slight errors but he played one of his best. Hughes - I'm loving him more each time I see him, I really want him to lock down a position full time and dominate...

Re: Round 22 - Cowboys vs Storm

This is one ordinary match so far.

Morgan doing his all for the Cows.

We need a spark, Billy doing his bit with the little scoots!

Re: Round 22 - Cowboys vs Storm

Putting Hughes anywhere but FB is an unwise move - his momentum is based on fb performances, it's a different kettle of fish in HB.

Also the discussion re: utility on the bench. If Hampton could secure that spot, given what his performances were like... Hughes is more than worthy of this

Re: Retro Round

Jake Webster's match winning try against Canterbury Bulldogs at Olympic Park. When I think of the good old days that's all I remember... that and the first emergency services cup when Greg Inglis sent Soward into orbit with a fend off!

Re: Round 18 Storm v Eels at AAMI Park Sat 8 July 7:30pm

Mules attitude in the post-game interview is exactly what I was hoping he would bring. Wasn't satisfied and knew we could do more especially after building a fortress down in Melb recently

The young fellas will learn a lot from him along with the other senior players.

The Grif...*pause*...fin HIA was a precaution as he must have suffered a headknock before he threw that wasteful pass!

Young is a speed bump for sure! Would have rather had Kenny or Harris play in his spot.

Suli with a brain fade there. Gonna owe the boys BIG time
