Re: Hughes or Jacks or Croft at half back

Agreed. Hughes' place in the 17 is/should be locked in - he has consistently been one of our best in every game he's played this year, no matter the position he has been asked to play. Unfortunately for Jacks and Croft, the only way they (should) get a game now is if Slater or Munster don't back up ...

Re: Round 17 v Dragons

If we lose playing like this it will be because of the continued incompetence of the amateur referees. Absolutely appalling some of these calls that have gone against us.

Re: Round 14 - Storm vs Broncos

Seriously, why are we persisting with Vunivalu? Is there really no one else better to replace him? He is not even a shadow of the player he was - his fundamental errors (both in defense & attack) are below reserve grade standard, and he's not even scoring tries now to make up for it. His consist...

"Outstanding"? Wow. I guess Bellamy's standards have dropped somewhat. :shock2:

Yep, that was it - both were charged from the same tackle just before half time.

For the same reason nothing came of the whack to Cam's nuts last week - the other guy wasn't wearing a Storm jersey.

Re: Round 5 - Tigers vs Storm

Croft doesn't belong anywhere near first grade at the moment - whatever he had last year in his few opportunities in the top grade is well & truly gone. I really don't care who replaces him (Jacks, Smith, Drinkwater, anyone!), but he needs to go. In regards to the team as a whole, the sporadic l...

Re: Round 4 - Sharks vs Storm

I switched off well before full time, so I can't comment on whether the charges from the "melee" at the end are warranted or not, but no penalty & nothing from the MRC for the contact to NAS' head during that tackle??? Seriously, what a joke of a sport, but a somewhat apt conclusion to...

Re: Round 4 - Sharks vs Storm

Worst "football" I have seen us play for many years. Absolutely pathetic. Not even going to start on the reffing because we have been so appalling.

Suli, Jesse, Hoffy and Croft have consistently been our most disappointing this season.

Re: Round 18 Storm v Eels at AAMI Park Sat 8 July 7:30pm

The pocket referee was right there and could see Semi flopping around without a hand on him at the end. He wasn't interested in awarding a penalty... Badger who was much further away was far too easily sold a lemon. Archer would blindly defend it though. As per usual. What kills me is after this oc...
