Re: Round 1 predicted line ups

There were the same lost weight reports last season and before too long he was fat and lazy again. I remember last season it was him losing weight for his wedding and then he must have honeymooned throughout the regular season because he definitely put it back on and then some by finals time. I hop...

I'm pretty sure he started while Tohu was injured this year and did everything that was asked of him.

Re: Round 1 predicted line ups

I would think it would be a little bit different to how we have done things in the past (i.e. Hinchcliffe). I would think Brandon spends some time at DH - quick, strong legs taking darting runs. Cam spends some time at first/second receiver. Organisation, support to two young halves, take the press...

Re: Round 1 predicted line ups

Are we thinking B Smith might get in at dummy half a bit while he's on? Would give Cam a bit more freedom to help out in the halves and do some organising off the ball. I know we experimented with Cam at 6 years ago and it didn't work out but I think this would be different because we wouldn't be re...

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news

He's a list clogger Or more likely a 'list filler' as in we need a name to make up the squad numbers. He wouldn't be getting much and it would be more of a development offer to see if he would be worth investing in long term. We don't need another FG quality back with Cheese, Hughes and Olam on the...

The second does not necessarily preclude the first.

Fair call.

Re: The race to be our half back is on

I would have Stimson starting as a direct replacement for Tohu. Kenny and Hoff can battle it out for the bench spot.

Re: Cooper Cronk confirms he will play on with a Sydney club in season 2018

There have been whispers Smith and Cronk’s relationship has been icy since the star half announced he was shooting through to Sydney for love ... and the Roosters. I think there is something to that tbh. It is quite odd that seemingly both Smith and Slater were not there... Family holiday is a cop ...

DCE also had a decent year. His style is probably too similar to Morgan's though and while Morgan is doing it better I don't see a spot for DCE in any rep side (unless he discovers that he's actually from NSW in which case he walks on to their starting side).

Re: Team of 20 Years

Super Cooper! I wonder if I'll keep loving him (like I did Noddy) or if I'll eventually hate him (like I did Ox for his involvement in the 2008GF)... I'll always have a soft spot for DJ. Dale Finucane may yet surpass him but in his prime I thought DJ was the best lock in the game. Would have been fu...

There are a couple of questionable winners of the RLPA but for the most part it's hard to begrudge any of the winners as being 'undeserving'. 2017 James Tedesco 2016 Jason Taumalolo 2015 Johnathan Thurston 2014 Johnathan Thurston 2013 Johnathan Thurston 2012 Ben Barba 2011 Akuila Uate 2010 Darius Bo...
