Re: Storm Players at the World Cup

How about the Tongan New Zealander playing for Australia?

Nice little article from him here: https://www.playersvoice.com.au/felise- ... SRZVfPC.97

Re: Cooper Cronk confirms he will play on with a Sydney club in season 2018

Munster hasn't done a bad job by any standards but I don't think I'm out of line in saying he isn't 100% settled into that spot yet. He's played one game for QLD (in which he did brilliantly and I thought he was best on ground) but there's still some work to be done in terms of his development as a ...

Surely no one is surprised that the form half of the competition got picked over a kid who's still finding his feet in the 6 jersey?

All stats are meaningless until you manage to get a meaning out of them.

Thanks for sharing that glennb. Makes me even more confident of our prospects against the chooks next year.

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news

FG - Bromwich, Glasby, NAS, Kasiano reserve - Welch, Kamikamika, Leuluai, ?Myles I think we're pretty well covered with a mix of size & skill, youth & experience and reliability & X-fator. Would be a waste IMO to spend money on another FG-level prop and have Glasby plugging away in reser...

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news

Not sure we need another signing at this stage. The club may be keeping a bit of spare $$$ in the cap for mid-season transfers next year in case we are hit with injuries around a particular spot.

Re: Cooper Cronk confirms he will play on with a Sydney club in season 2018

The NRL and the salary cap have long been a joke and this now proves it. ” With the greatest respect, unless you've personally seen all the books of all the clubs then I don't think you're in a position to comment on the salary cap situation of the NRL in general. I think most fans are misled by me...

Mitchell Pearce would be the only winner if he came to the Storm.

Re: With Cronk and Harris and McLean gone, we must be heaps under our salary cap

No idea where you get your figures from. As far as I can tell player salaries are a mystery and when you factor in Third Party Agreements and any incentive bonus clauses in player contracts it's nearly impossible for an outsider to estimate what the club may or may not be spending. The club upgraded...

Re: What the actual FAAAAAAAAAARRRRRK?!?!?!??!

No doubt we lose a big with the overall comparison ; but still a very strong squad with good depth. Assuming Croft, Kasiano, Stimson and B Smith come into the starting 17, the following is a team of our reserves. 1. Hughes 2.Tonumaipea 3. Blair 4. Earl 5. Olam 6.Drinkwater 7. Jacks 8. Myles 9. Walt...

Re: Jordan Mclean

Can't keep em all. Our prop rotation still has a great mix of impact, minutes, youth and experience. With the greatest of respect to Jordy, I'm not at all concerned about our forward prospects for next year.

Most definitely. I hope that's a part of his game he really works to develop among our younger players.
