Re: World Club Challenge

Intrigued by what kind of team we name for this. We have a game in NZ the same weekend and then the big Smith-Thurston event the week after.

Re: Round 1 predicted line ups

It was back within a a month of the season

I'm hopeful as well. He's just got to prove people wrong.

Re: Round 1 predicted line ups

There were the same lost weight reports last season and before too long he was fat and lazy again.

Re: Round 1 predicted line ups

Hard to look past what Cronk did organising and basically being involved in everything we did with the ball. It's going to take patience from everybody when Croft and Munster start slow.

I'll certainly miss the two big boys more though.

Re: Round 1 predicted line ups

I remember after he had a good game it was "Tohu who?"

Now it's "he's not ready". I don't even know what that means.

Re: Billy Slater

It's good to be wrong. Athletes aren't suppose to miss two seasons and comeback even better.
He did things in slightly different ways to peak Slater but it was quite remarkable how he was able to return and be as good as he was.

Re: Round 1 predicted line ups

Most people want to see Stimson follow the Harris route and fully expect Hoffman to play a role. Kenny is just the odd man out. I expect most we Stimson fans will be disappointed though.

Re: Round 1 predicted line ups

Not sure if we can get both Smith and Stimson in the same 17 unfortunately.

I had this weird thought the other day that Hughes will start the season at halfback.

You couldn't be more wrong if you tried.

You can have your depth thing but the Cinderella story bs is a bit much.

I mean we have depth. Some have actually played footy in the last 3 years too.

You never know Sandor might just be that missing piece plus I doubt he is on a big contract

C'mon now.

Re: The race to be our half back is on

I can't wait for the calls for Croft to be dropped for Jacks after a few bad weeks.

Really hoping Munster's kicking game improves more next season. He's going to have a lot more responsibility in that area next season. Him being good there would only help the team in general.

Re: The race to be our half back is on

Saw Kenny in the back row to begin the year last season. Hard pass on that one.
