Re: Round 8 - Storm vs Warriors - ANZAC DAY

Kaufusi brothers moving up in the brother rankings if Pat is named today. Bromwich brothers barely holding onto second spot.

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread

Can easily shuffle things around once Finucane comes back but I wonder what we do for the Warriors next week.

Re: Official Injury Updates Thread

Hughes, much like Brandon Smith, is a player I wish we could fit into our strongest 17. Glad he's returned and hopefully can push for a spot in first grade.

Re: Round 7 - Broncos vs Storm

Think it's clear how much both him and CSmith needed some match fitness under their belt plus Smith was dealing with that groin injury as well. Add that to the halves pairing misfiring it translated to being 2 and 3.

Re: Round 7 - Broncos vs Storm

Slater has been good since taking the first month off.

Re: Round 7 - Broncos vs Storm

Very weird how good the attack looks when we hold onto the ball and our 3 best players aren't playing like ass. We could've posted closer to 50 if we were a little sharper too.

Could do without leaking 4 tries though. Only the Milford kick to himself didn't come from a direct mistake by us.

Wish we'd see him given proper minutes.

Re: Round 6 - Storm vs Knights

Eh, yes JAC making better decisions than Suli is good for one and not good for the other.

Once the overlap occurs both Young and Suli are on the back foot and ball watching. Either one has to make the decision to come up and apply pressure, right?

Re: Round 6 - Storm vs Knights

You're probably right and it's a good explanation for why he would be so jammed in.

His decision making has been definitely questionable. For a team who doesn't have many breakdowns he's a clear weak link in the line.

Re: Round 6 - Storm vs Knights

I don't believe it was necessary to leave as much room as Suli left there. I think the line marking is 10m in and Suli was around there.

I think when you continually make stuff up you just have to go with it.

Re: Round 6 - Storm vs Knights

Maybe there's a reason for it but I just cannot understand why any winger would stand so far inside his opposite number. Anyone have an explanation?

Re: Round 6 - Storm vs Knights

Vunivalu's defence is a legit issue.

Forwards laid a proper platform tonight. Got a few lucky bounces in there but we were more Storm like in attack tonight. Was good to have a halfback play like a halfback. Jacks took like line on more, was there in support play. Just all in all did his job.

Re: Round 6 - Storm vs Knights

Kaufusi rushing up on Ponga and Suli being in no mans land again. Otherwise a solid first half defensively.

Re: Round 6 - Storm vs Knights

A Sunshine Coast reporter thinks Stimson will play for the Falcons this weekend. Wonder if that means Smith will play?
