Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news

Apparently we have signed Sandor Earl on a one year deal. It is yet to be announced by the club.

Likely a train and trial gig?

Re: 2014 Official thread and signing news

That's a massive shame... Hopefully he doesn't end up at Cronulla or Manly. I don't want to have to hate him.

Re: 2018 Draw

In terms of the games we play, it looks like a reasonably soft draw. We play 2017 Top 4 teams four times in total (Broncos twice, Roosters once, Eels once). We play 2017 Top 8 teams eleven times in total (As above plus Sharks twice, Sea Eagles twice, Cowboys twice, Panthers once). No reason we canno...

Re: 2018 Draw

NRL take control of the draw and one of the big reasons was to eliminate 5 day turnarounds. We still get FOUR . Two five day turnarounds between home games. One travelling from an away game and then playing at home 5 days later. One five day turnaround between away games (Newcastle to Perth). The NR...

Re: 2018 Playing Roster

The coaching staff play a huge role in that. Doesn't matter how good the halfback is at organising, if the team are bunched around the ruck there is not a lot of time to tell everyone where to be. The players need to know their formations and the kinds of situations they need to be in formation. The...

Re: Premiership merchandise

That said I didn’t actually mind the jersey this season but I don’t buy jerseys anymore given I have a heap alr adt. I haven't bought one in a couple of years (but the wife and kids have 2017 versions). I still hold out hope for a Storm home jersey like this Wigan one... A tiny touch of yellow on t...

Re: 2018 Playing Roster

Great to have Hoffy back home but I assume Stimson will win out the starting left backrower position and Hoffman will be used for depth and experience. Having said that, I thought Hoffman was done before coming back in 2012 and having his finest NRL season ever, so what do I know... Really excited b...

Go easy of Ray. Senility has well and truly set in. Poor bloke probably got lost wondering the stadium looking for someone that died 15 years ago.

Not Titans Round 1. Update below (from Storm website). Would have helped if I read Freeze's post... Perth Stadium, March 10 South Sydney Rabbitohs v Warriors Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs v Melbourne Storm Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland, April 7 Wests Tigers v Melbourne Storm Warriors v North Queensland...

LOL. And they are... Against the Titans away.

Silly me thinking that the NRL would have half a clue. I should have learned by now!

Re: World Club Challenge

I thought I read somewhere we once again declined the opportunity to be involved? Not interested personally, especially as it seems to affect teams.
