Re: Off season discussion - best ever Storm spine

Slater, Geyer, Orford and Smith.

I only said that because that was the spine the club had when I started watching them.

... and because I love Boofa.

Re: Off season discussion - best ever Storm spine

I remember a game against the Roosters at Aami Park in 2011 during the origin period. So all the big names were not playing We had Widdop, and M. Blair in the halves, and Hinchcliffe at 9 and we won 21-4. Our halves we brilliant that night. I can't remember who was at fullback. If anyone knows let ...

Munster's avoided suspension. He's been fined. That's it.

Re: 2018 Grand Final. Storm v Roosters

Yep no chance Cronk is playing. I don't understand the smoke and mirrors. Keary is way more important to them than Cronk. Anyone who saw the channel 7 chopper footage would know he isnt playing. He would have at least been running some plays with no contact. He did nothing, he couldn't even pick up...

Friend's been charged with a grade one. No prior offences. He's been given the green light.

Re: PRELIMINARY FINAL - Storm vs Sharks

I don't think anyone should be concerned about him missing the game fwiw. I think what Slater did was the right thing to do but technically probably a shoulder charge. The NRL has shown to be pretty consistent in not charging similar tackles this season so my real problem with this is why is this t...

I'm sweating on Bill, anyone know when the Mrc hand out the charges ?
A great team effort across the park.

We should hear whether he's charged by this afternoon.

Re: PRELIMINARY FINAL - Storm vs Sharks

Not trying to stir here - but is Slater in trouble for that shoulder charge? Does he have any carry over points this year?

Re: Storm vs Sharks/Panthers line up

Ah ,Sharks. So we meet again. 2016 GF still hurts so much. This is a real chance for some redemption. How bad are the injuries to Gallen and Lewis ? Knowing those tough old buggers , they will both get up. Probably Dugan returns too. However the return of NAS will be very significant. We have to be...

Re: Hughes or Jacks or Croft at half back

The thing I love about Croft, and Munster (keeping in mind he started off as a fullback), is they back themselves to run the ball instead of just handing it off to someone else. Croft already seems to have his running game down pat and judging by what we've seen he seems to judge his runs really wel...

Re: QUALIFYING FINAL - Storm vs Rabbitohs

Shout out to our backrow last night, Kaufusi/Stimson/Finucane were immense, they were punching holes, offloading, creating tries, putting on some huge shots, tackling anything that moved and all played monster minutes, was very happy to see them play so well. I know it’s a big call but I think that...

Re: Round 22 - Storm vs Sharks

I don’t think I’ve ever been more furious or upset after a game.

That was the most insipid, immature performance I’ve seen from the Storm.

Missing 42 tackles is inexcusable and kicking away valuable possession early in the tackle count is cardinal sin.

Very angry.
