Smith and Croft named for QRL but not Tui and Blair. Might indicate the final 19

Re: Billy set to announce retirement

Look it's probably true.

I'm going to miss him but with Munster, Hughes and then rookie backup of Papenhuyzen we could hardly be better placed for life without the great man.

Hopefully we can send him out with another premiership under his belt. He deserves it.

Re: Round 21 - Rabbitohs vs Storm

What does this have to do with giving Bellamy credit or not? How strange.. Being a great coach doesn't stop you from being criticised over player selections. Or should we just be fine that Ryan Hoffman plays 80 minutes ever week? Also Brandon has been out for two weeks not two months. And it's not ...

Re: Queensland Cup 2018

Sallymay/scooter any reports on Papenhuyzen? Potential first grader next season? He still has 2 years left on his contract after this season but is he getting close? I imagine he would want Bill to hang them up to improve his chances. And Drinkwater in the same boat? Although without a contract. See...

Re: Round 19 - Warriors vs Storm

Does anyone...really... c'mon...really...think that Craig just goes with the 17 named ? No way. True. But I seriously doubt he names Croft at HB and then pulls the jersey from him at the last minute . That'd be just plain evil! With all the speculation of who will and won't be in the side surely th...

Re: Round 19 - Warriors vs Storm

Glasby to wear 13. Dale from the bench, best case scenario.

I wonder if CB will now look to rest some of the forwards who have been epic through this origin period. Good time to do it with Jesse back, Tui playing so well and the signing of Vete. NAS, Welch and Kenny have been sensational.

Re: Smith/Slater/Cronk Story

See this is the problem. I am a Troll now. This is the problem with the internet. You don't know who I am. We are having a simple discussion on the merit of journalism in modern society. I have no motivations except to say that people need to come out on the front foot with the media basically like...

Re: Smith/Slater/Cronk Story

And the Sydney Media loves to kick the boots into the Melbourne Storm there is still a huge element of them who think we are unworthy. in the AFL, the interstate teams are treated with respect. in the narrow minded NRL, the only "non-traditional" state team is treated with total contempt....

Re: Smith/Slater/Cronk Story

Parts of it are true but that doesn't need to come out I'm keen to dismiss it all as tabloid nonsense but I'm afraid the old adage "where there is smoke there is fire" will no doubt ring true once again. and this is the problem People start believing it all as true.. When only those invol...

Re: Round 18 - Sea Eagles vs Storm

I disagree with he would be a regular first grader at most other clubs. He’s been at three other clubs already (Roosters, Eels, Sea Eagles) and couldn’t hold down a spot. I read a story not long ago that if not for the Storm signing him, he was going to have to go to the uk. I can’t think of any NR...

Re: Round 18 - Sea Eagles vs Storm

Reckon they might manage NAS's time a bit. Has had an enormous workload recently. I reckon they start Welch and Glasby, with NAS coming off the bench.

Hopefully Felise and Finucane are OK as I'd expect Stimson to miss unfortunately.
